Insurgency Wiki has many projects that happen with in it. Some of them sinister, some not. This one is to help improve the anonymous users of this site usages of tools. Most of the tool on here predating 2008 contain an excess of Trojans and zombie codes. This project is designed to label and make aware of code that is OK for normal use or will put your computer in jeopardy.

Standards

All software must follow:

  • Must not contain any backtracking or back tracing software.
  • Must not contain loggers of any kind. (Unless it is a key logger.)
  • Must not contain way to zombie a computer.
  • Must be open source. If not open source, must be willing to release the source to Insurgency Wiki Staff.
  • Must be open for review.
  • Code must be hosted on a reliable host.

Checking Code

You, yourself can check code. But we have brought on a team of people who will go thought an analyze each tool to check its validity. Do not be upset if we dismiss you. We have to check the code ourselves.

Project CleanCode is a Project that allows users to update posted software. To mark a page to be updated use [[Category:ProjectCleanCode]].

Pages listed here are in need of review. Once that is done they should either be marked with {{CleanCode}} or {{NonCleanCode}} and the [[Category:ProjectCleanCode]] tag should be removed so the other pages on this list can be processed.
