Also find local protests on forum, IRC: #IRL on irc.partyvan.org down, use irc.g00ns.net instead.

The work of communist and anarchist rabble-rousers may be instructive. Beautiful posters with inspirational message and solidarity + righteousness = WIN.

Even after 10 February, useful posters can be put here. Also, of course, posters or flyers of relevant anti-Sci copypasta or key fact points to use as desired.

[edit] APRIL 12TH 2008

> I think it would be a good idea to add a link to the list of raids for Project reconnect on any posters. The general populace may learn about anonymous, but might have a difficult time location the time and place of a protest in their area if we don't give them a fast and easy way to acquire where to raid.

>That doesn't make any sense. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?

>I was tired from lack of sleep. Lemme try to clarify. On a poster, you'd generally have a link to, say, exscientologykids.org. While this is a good source for information on the protest and what we're doing, if the people actually cared to join in on a protest they would have to dig for a while to figure out where and when one is. I am saying, in addition to whatever links may be in place, adding an extra link saying "for information on protest locations go to http://partyvan.info/index.php/Project_Chanology/Target_IRL". Something along those lines to promote attendance to protests.

[edit] Logos

Third image is a larger version of the Anon logo.

[edit] Slogans

For those of you who willing to get off your asses and make your own damn posters, here are some suggestions for how to reach different audiences. All slogans should be short enough to be read on sight.

[edit] Newbs

Newbs are people who have gotten into the church recently and haven't put much money in, relatively speaking. All of them got in because they believe dianetics helped them with some problem, and they see Scientology as just another church that happens to be their church. They are easy targets for propaganda, but the propaganda should appeal to their self-interest, not mock their beliefs. Some possible themes:

  • Costs ("Scientology: Bridge to total poverty" "$360,000 to reach Total Freedom")
  • Doubts ("No clear has won a Nobel prize")
  • The Free Zone ("freezone.org: Tech without Tyranny")

[edit] Veterans

Veterans are a broad group. They include OTs, clears and advanced pre-clears. They do not necessarily hold any authority in the church, although they can work for the church as part of its fraudulent "volunteer" system to pay their bills. They have been subjected to some degree of indoctrination, and they have probably experienced some of the church's bad side. You're not going to get through to an OT with a poster, it's not worth trying. For the clears and advanced PCs, again, you should appeal to their self-interest, while referring to some of the problems they know about firsthand:

  • Disconnection ("Your friends are none of the church's business" "Is everyone an SP?")
  • Ethics ("The most ethical organization: Says who?" "Has your church lied to you lately?")
  • Exploitation ("Volunteers do the work because they want to.")

The church has its own jargon for talking about the "tech", or doctrine. This helps them maintain control by scrambling communications between members and outsiders. Learn the jargon and turn it against the church. Watch the Fishman deposition and review the Scientology glossary.

[edit] General public

The general public includes people who might be recruited by Scientology, people who know Scientologists, and people who don't know why they should care.

  • For the first group, of course, spoil the surprise with posters that push xenu.net and xenutv.com (NOT xenu.tv, which is a Scientology front site)
  • For the second group: "Know a Scientologist? Go to helpthem.notlong.com"
  • For the third group, push Scientology's above-the-law behavior, censorship efforts, homophobia, and tax exemption (while seeking tax dollars for Narconon, Criminon, Delphi, etc.) Nobody likes a tax freeloader.

[edit] Homemade Picket Signs/Banners

Three things to remember about homemade signs is that they should be 1) CONCISE, 2) CLEAR, and 3) EASY TO READ FROM FAR AWAY. Unfortunately, many of the hand-written signs on 2/10 failed these requirements. This time around, we need to make sure that the writing on our signs is both bold and neat. A person driving past a protest isn't going to be able to read anything messily scrawled in permanent marker on a small picket sign. Knowing this, we must make sure to create effective, eye-catching signs to portray our messages.

A devastatingly effective banner is made like this: You take a roll of wrapping paper (or butcher paper or something akin to that) and roll it out until you've achieved the desired length. Then you get some duct tape and stick it to your banner to form the words. Make sure to put your message on the white side of the paper for maximum contrast. If necessary, you can add extra layers of paper on the back and reinforce the edges with more duct tape to prevent ripping. When done properly, the end result is an intimidatingly large banner that is eye-catching and can be read from hundreds of meters away.

[edit] Anthem

Folks, let's face it, if we're going to be in the public eye, we need some catchy tunes to be in the background for our messages. I suggest one based off of the USSR's for the whole unity message that it brings across. Picture the classic look Anon with text splaying in front of it and a derivative of this playing in the background. At the very least, it will allow an easy method of identification between other Anonymous if we ever get lyrics made. Hell, we could just put a YouTube video with that and this as the image and we'd be set for a recruitment drive. Personally, I think it will provide a face for Anonymous. Then again, it's 4 AM and I'm hopped up on meds.

  • Hell, on second thought, we can just use the English version and change a word or two.

[edit] For the Media

When you send stuff to the press, include the scion dox on "handling" the press. Scion tactics which are propably already known to them, and if not, will make them disgusted with the cult.

[edit] Comments

Honestly I think the logo is gay. --Sebs 21:49, 27 January 2008 (PST)

to Sebs: alternate versions with "Anon Black Suit w/ ring" logo will be up soon. Can't add them myself, not a user, but the one who designed the images. thought you should know. -- anom-de-plume

Well, make yourself an account. Also, don't use latin if you suck at it so much. --Sebs 15:16, 28 January 2008 (PST)
  • If the "from the desk of anon" seal is supposed to contain a Latin rendition of "We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget.", it's quite off. Something like "sumus legio - numquam ignoscimus - numquam dediscimus" would work better (replacing the "we do not ..." clauses with a literal "we never..." to preserve the connotation; otherwise, s/numquam/non/) -- anonymous latinfag

(Comment not concerning Seb's post): If someone could try to make more tri-fold flyers that'd be great. First, tri-folds can sometimes be more readable than a whole piece of paper, and second, if you plan to give some flyers to a business, then they will undoubtly prefer tri-folds because they don't take up as much room. Speaking of which, people in general should try seeing if local busnesses would be willing to carry flyers? I don't think any will, but it's worth a shot. (God my spelling is terrible)
