[edit] Neutralization of CoS's Legal Weapons
Discussion of how to neutralize CoS's legal operations (Post info here that is potential ammo for lawsuits)
- See Scientology Copyright-Abuse Prize (Digg it while you're at it) for info about an incentive prize to file a $250+ Million Class-Action Lawsuit for Copyright Abuse
UPDATE: SCIENTOLOGY DOESN'T EVEN OWN THE COPYRIGHT FOR THE MATERIALS THEY SUE EVERYONE FOR If this can come up as supporting evidence in the Scientology Class-Action Lawsuit (see above link) then CoS is done for!
- Tax Court Denies Scientology-Like Deduction for Jewish Courses - Distribute fliers in orthodox religious communities showing that Scientologists get full tax deductions for tens of thousands of dollars worth of "religious private schooling" then ask them why don't you?
[edit] Tracking down potentially aggressive Scientologists
Track down Scientologists in your neighbourhood. Espeically those involved ion "Fair Game" tactics. Distribute flyers into their neighbours' mailboxes explaining who they are and what they do. Provide creddible sources such as xenutv and xenu.net This works very well in neighbourhoods with lots of parents. Appeal to their children's safety. ie. Header of the flyer: Are your children safe? Even if they don't realy care about Scientology , they'll read it!
TASKS FOR THIS OPERATION
- Setup Wiki for collection and collective research of suspected Scientologists
- NEXT IRL RAID: PHOTOGRAPH ALL SCIENTOLOGISTs!!!
[edit] Purpose
| “ | When a pack of tigers takes the form of kittens and sneaks into a playground, all hell is going to break loose. | „ |
| —Anonymous on Strategy (2008-02-10), | ||
Operation Punked Survey was created with two aims in mind. First, to utilize our collected force and data mining capabilities (for massive Lulz) and to give militant Scientologists a little taste of what "Fair Game" feels like. Second, to use the very effective political tactic of push polling to generate or further strengthen subconscious negativity in Scientologists towards the CoS.
Disclaimer for (the original) PartyVan operators: This Operation does not intended nor does it advocate the violation of any laws.
[edit] How it Works
- Post a picture and/or name of a suspected Scientologist.
- Anonymous digs up any and all information about that person.
- As the amount of information gathered on the target grows, they are eventually contacted and their commitment to supporting CoS and its abusive techniques is assessed.
- If the target is a supporter of one or more hostile activities listed in the Targeting Criteria they are declared "Fair Game" by Anonymous
[edit] MAJORLY IMPORTANT RULES
- ALL SCIENTOLOGISTS ARE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE AND FOLLOW THE TEACHING OF LRH! INTERFERING WITH THEIR BELIEFS AND PRACTICE IS A VIOLATION OF CIVIL RIGHTS!!! (If you violate this rule in any way, you will have caused MAJOR FAIL for Anonymous! If you do this and I ever find you, I will personally beat you senseless! No Joke.)
- Anyone initiating contact with any Scientologists must be courteous and professional! Initial contact is NOT to harass them for being Scientologist, it is to assess their level of threat to Anonymous and other non-Scientology members of the public.
- Don't get distracted! Do not argue how crazy Scientology's ideas are. Do not defend yourself from any verbal attacks. Focus on getting a straight Yes/No answer to their support of the listed targeting criteria. Post it back to their file.
- If the target states that they are no longer with the "Church" see if you can recruit them to Anonymous.
[edit] "Official" Targeting Criteria
- The target supports "Fair Game"
- The target supports "Disconnect Doctrine"
[edit] Example Call Script
Try to make the tone of the call to sound like it's from a professional 3rd party survey service. If you make them fall for it, they will not bother arguing with you. Try to make sure you start each question with "Ok,Good." as it makes them more relaxed and they will receive each question more and more openly.
- "Hello, I am with Chanology Survey Agency and we are calling on behalf of... Um... [pause like your are looking up the name, rustle some papers] Anonymous [chuckle a little to yourself like you find this name interesting] who is conducting a survey regarding the beliefs of Scientology. This survey consists of about 20 questions and should take about 5 minutes to complete. Your answers are important and will be used to help our client to more clearly understand the mission of the Church of Scientology. Would you be interested in answering this survey?
- Ok, Good. 1st Question, have you ever been or are you currently a member of the Church of Scientology?
- Ok, Good. 2nd Question, how many years have you been (or where you) a member for?
- Ok, Good. 3rd Question, level of have you reached? There is a list of options for this question: (put various options here)
- [Make up more weak questions to put here]
- Ok, Good. The next 3 question are about the Church's policy of Disconnect. Have you ever heard of the Disconnect Policy? (Yes/No)
- Ok, Good. Have you or anyone you known been a victim of Disconnect Policy? (Yes/No)
- Ok, Good. Which answer in the following list best describes your support of the Disconnect Policy? You strongly support, you support, or you do not support Disconnect Policy?
- Ok, Good. The next 3 question are about the Church's policy of Fair Game. Have you ever heard of the Fair Game Policy? (Yes/No)
- Ok, Good. To the best of your knowledge is the Fair Game Policy still in effect or is has it been canceled? (In Effect/Canceled)
- Ok, Good. Have you or anyone you known been a victim of the Fair Game Policy? (Yes/No)
- Ok, Good. Which answer in the following list best describes your support of the Fair Game Policy? You strongly support, you support, or you do not support Fair Game Policy?
- Ok, Good. Well that's all the questions I have for you today and I would like to thank you on behalf on Anonymous and Chanology Survey Agency for your time. Thank you and have a good day/night. Good Bye.
[edit] Operation Anocracy
[edit] Goals
Operation Anocracy is an attempt to undermine the Church of Scientology's efforts to influence government and politics. Still in its early stages, all that has been accomplished so far is the acquisition of documents detailing Co$'s lobbying activities from 2003-2007, and even this is lobbying done by the Church itself, not any of its front organizations. We ultimately hope to find and expose politicians who are supported by and in turn support Scientology, and dissuade other governmental figures from associating with the "Church".
Thus far, we have identified the lobbying firm currently associated with the main Co$, and found records of its lobbying activities done for the Co$ from 2003-2007. We will be making attempts to contact this firm and convince them of the error of their ways; should they be uncooperative, we will release information regarding their identity for all to harass them as they see fit. Until then, we shall assume they are somehow oblivious and innocent to the atrocities Scientology has committed, and have censored the documents so that they will be left alone.
[edit] How To Help
We need reasonable and intelligent people to help us with this operation due to the nature of dealing with local/state/federal governments and their documents. We especially need people from Washington D.C.
- Join us in #anocracy
[edit] Resources
The lobbying documents most relative to our interests can be downloaded from Rapidshare here.
Some quick observations on the lobbying done:
- The Second Chance Act they are pushing for would allow Scientology to get federal grants to put their bunk "detoxification" programs in prisons, such as Criminon.
- The push to modify the "unfair" Customs Tariff laws and make even more "religious articles of worship" be classified as duty-free, is probably to make it cheaper to import/export any of the equipment they use, such as E-meters and copies of Dianetics. Any research on what Scientology-based materials are currently only available by importing into the United States would be appreciated.
- An effort to change bankruptcy law to be more supportive of religions that require it. Means one of 2 things,
1) Scientology has fallen on hard times OR 2) Scientology wants to make it easier for them to declare bankruptcy in event of a successful lawsuit against them
- Ironically enough, the push to express support for Human Rights Day and Human Rights Week
- Greg Mitchell and the Mitchell company were behind all of the lobbying
[edit] Known Scientology-Supporting Politicians
Research was done but the results proved to be too numerous to be posted here. Here is an extensive and thorough list of who is connected to scientology and how they are connected.
- Ileana Ros-Lehtinen,US Congresswoman for the 18th District of Florida. An extensive document on her Scientology support can be found here; the second section of this contains interesting links regarding campaign contributions and voting records, while the rest of the document is an in-depth look at her campaign contributors who have ties to Scientology, as well as contributors to Tom Gallagher.
- I've heard that Scientology regained their tax exempt status in the 1990s through hollywood's political donations and clout with the Clinton adminstration. Perhaps we can float this to the Obama campaign, I.E. The Clintons gave tax exempt status to an organization that attempted to infiltrate the US Government, IRS. This is not to directly support the Obama campaign but rather a way to use the current newstide to our favor, and why would we want a Scilon supporter as president? While chanology currently has a rising media profile, if we can use what is at the forefront at the moment it would be a huge boost. Picture "Clinton gave tax exemption to subversive and seditious group" as the headline on drudgereport. Would be a devestating blow to scientology. Hurt both those who have enabled and supported them and make it into a political scandal. Let the political agents of the machine run wild with it, that's their job.
- Maybe, but Obama would use it only as a last resort to discredit Clinton and it doesn't look like he needs that sort of munition right now. The point of politics is to be everybody's friend and not take a hardcore stance on any one issue. Obama would also fear the ire of the Sci-to PR machine. It wouldn't seem to work out very well for him. But plant the seeds, because if he does in fact use it, many, many lulz would ensue.
[edit] Operation Spotlight
[edit] Spam CoS with fake reports
Remember the Gestapo of the Nazis, and the KGB of the USSR, who terrorized the population by turning it against itself? Scientology does the same thing to its members. This strategy, of keeping the population subdued, was highly effective, because it prevented the population from organizing itself against its oppressors.
However, with the coming of the internet and the invention of spam, humanity has finally (FINALLY!) discovered a defense against treachery!
[edit] Online reports
This above link is months old. But if anything like this should occur, then instructions on how to deal with it are given below
Report every person you can think of for the associated IPs. Thousands upon thousands of people per IP. It will be the equivalent of showering a radar scanner with metal strips before an air raid. We must not allow the greedy to succeed and profit. Begin reporting hundreds of unassociated people for these IPs. Spam that mailbox so that it will take CoS years to find credible data. Make your reports seem legit and real. Earn their trust. Set up meetings. Start associating faces with operatives. Let's cast their own net against them.
get RL looking addresses here http://anonym.to/http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/index.php
Go to http://anonym.to/https://www.rtc.org/reports/form/index.html if it is still up and flood them with false *BUT PLAUSIBLE* reports.
[edit] IRL reports
The goal of Operation Cornflakes is simple: Destroy CoS's ability to monitor followers who are being affected by our campaign. This will make it easier for CoS members to leave the organization without interference.
Use the process described here to submit a large amount of false leads to the RTC (Religious Technology Center). Because of the large volume of false reports, the RTC will be unable to sort out the real messages from the fake ones. This overflow of leads will drown out legitimate leads on CoS members that are about to leave the organization.
- How to manufacture and send "poison tips" to the RTC pointing the Subversive Person finger at random CoS members
The idea is to send false tips to the CoS "outing" members of the church as "Anonymous spies", using the information of a second member of the church to establish believability.
Now, here is what you must do (follow these instructions carefully).
First... go to a safe computer, a library or a cafe, it is likely that if they discover the tip's a fake that they will trace the IP. Always remember: Anonymity is our greatest asset.
Now then, using CoS's own directories located at:
- USA--- http://on-line.scientology.org/cntinent/Namerica/usa/index.htm
- Canada--- http://on-line.scientology.org/cntinent/Namerica/canada/index.htm
- UK--- http://on-line.scientology.org/cntinent/Europe/UK/index.htm
- Find two members of the CoS that live nearby you (at least in the same state/region). Look up the address of one of them. Use your phonebook or online white pages to find information.
- The Scis have a website: https://www.rtc.org/reports/form/index.html which is set up for members to report on people who they believe are violating scientology's rules or infringing on copyright information (member and non-member alike). Go their and fill out the following information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Address
- City
- State
- Zip
- Country
- Using the information of the member whose information you looked up in the phone book fill out the form.
- Now check the "I am a public scientologist" box. Don't fill out email or DoB or additional information.
- Check the "person(s)" box in the reporting on section. Then scroll down and select "Misdemeanor Report" from the list of types of report (don't go higher, Misdemeanor is enough to get them sent to Ethics).
- Next scroll down to the report section. And below paste the following (or better yet tweak it a little bit):
- "There have been some unsettling rumors floating around that (the person who you're reporting) may have connections with the hacker group, "Anonymous". These are just rumors, but I would feel safer if their local staff would talk with them... or if necessary perhaps send them to Ethics to determine the validity of these rumors."
- Sign with the name of the person who's address you found.
- Send.
The CoS will receive these reports and send those mentioned to Ethics and likely (as damage control) kick out those they suspect out of the CoS. As this continues it will snowball into a "witch hunt" like paranoia, causing massive disruption and distrust among the ranks of scientology. The ideal demographic to single out would obviously be 18-25 year old white males, as they would be the most suspect.
Remember: send as many as you can make plausible! The more of these we send, the more effort CoS has to go through to dig through all of them!
