NEW' Anonymous Reflects on Feb10 - A Post Reporting the Events of February 10th, 2008

• NEW Anonymous' Video Press Release - Anonymous' Video Press Release; A message to both the public and media; in light of the February 10th protests, this video clears up some common misconceptions mainstream media outlets and members of the public seem to have about Anonymous and the point of its "war with Scientology." Both informative and powerful.
  • It should be noted that in the course of the video, Anonymous suggests use of the Freezone to Scientologists who are interested. And despite how legitimate the video sounds, there have been several comments claiming that this it is all a lie, and some comments relate the tactics of Anonymous to the tactics of the Nazis, in a typical Scientologist fashion to "always attack, never defend." Just based on the look of it these kinds of comments and the video's content (success of 2/10/08 and the Freezone), the CoS is really trying to keep this video down. It has already quite a few Diggs, but it is important to keep it popular on other websites and to get enough views to be noticed by some people high up in the media, like what happened with the original Message to Scientology. (Yes, there is a possibility it could be fake, but seeing as how it states everything Chanology has been working for, and doesn't say anything negative about Anonymous, the chances of it being fake are pretty slim.)(For a transcript of the release, see here)
    • tl;dr - Don't let the Scientologists make us seem like illegitimate terrorists and spread this video!

• February 8th: DJ Grothe from Point of Inquiry Interviews Ex-Scientologist Tory Christman - Christman recounts her firsthand experiences with the CoS; Grothe and her have an interesting and informative skeptical conversation, and Christman voices her support for Anonymous. In terms of public knowledge and critical perspectives on the CoS, THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT.
